Do you do any registry tweaks???
If so try it without any tweaks, see if your problems go away
People who tweak their registry manually or with programs often do toooo much with the tweaking that it totally screws up your connection

No we are not shared cuz my upload is capped at 1mbits/sec and if we we shared then when i send a file to each other it would cut the upload in half and not still go at 100KBytes+ each
Well i'm not with @home but i have 2 cable modems 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs At first i believe my connection with both modems were shared cuz my upload cap is at 1 mbits/sec So i did a test of sending a file to each other So i started the 1st send and it was going at 100KBytes++ , went downstairs ...
I see alot of people complaining about their connection stopping after awhile of downloading I know how frustrating it is when your connection dies Here's my story, awhile back i had this really annoying problem of my connection dying whenever i was uploading It could be 1 minute, 30 minutes or an ...
I can get like 4x the speed of T1 in downloading and about 128 KBytes in uploading That's about 60 to 70 KBytes off from T1 in upping Close enough but look at the price differance Fast upload speed is real great in trading with peeps if you know what i mean I pay $29.95 a ...
Heh i thought your connections was gonna be like 1MB+ That speed is nothing to brag about This pic was taken awhile ago, notice i sustained that speed throughout the 130+MB file download

Why does every1 use those damn inaccurate speed tests To test your speeds just goto a very fast site like happypuppy.com and download one of their 100+ MB demo games See what kind of sppeds you can sustain throughout the download Their servers are damn fast so whatever you get their should reflect ...

The 800-900KBytes i get are not from OOL's ftp I go to sites and dl those big a$$ 100+MB games and Go!zilla would find the fastest servers Heh i even get around 700-800KBytes from gamesdomain.com's UK server Everytime i test at dslreports i've never seen it past the 600KB mark which i can do all day ...
The dsl reports is not that accurate It never shows 1000 upload speed when i clearly can up that much from OOL, it alwayz shows around 700 kbits to 600kbits and their download report ain't accurate either It shows that i can dl at about 550 KBytes when actually for all this week that i've been ...

Don't know if that will help
Did another test right now 6:50pm Same site, same file, same server Right now should be about peak time where lots of people are on The download was at 900KB or higher most of the download til about the end, then it dropped off a bit You can see by the graph http://www.geocities.com/kavman101 ...
Most reliable speed test is going to a fast site and download a big file like 100MB+ You should get a good sense of how fast you're connection is www.happypuppy.com Woohoo!!! Still dling at 800KB to 900KB all day You might also want to get a program called Go!zilla, when you download something it ...
