If so try it without any tweaks, see if your problems go away
People who tweak their registry manually or with programs often do toooo much with the tweaking that it totally screws up your connection

Yes i'am paying $20 more a month
No we are not shared cuz my upload is capped at 1mbits/sec and if we we shared then when i send a file to each other it would cut the upload in half and not still go at 100KBytes+ each

1 upstairs and 1 downstairs

I can get like 4x the speed of T1 in downloading and about 128 KBytes in uploading
That's about 60 to 70 KBytes off from T1 in upping
Close enough but look at the price differance

Best way to test is download a big file from a fast site
Happypuppy.com - They have tons of servers that are just extremely fast

Well i had a similar problem awhile back until someone on this board said something about a string in the registry
I dunno if this is the same problem with you but whenever i use to upload, maybe 5, 10, 30 or an hour later my connection would be dead but all green lights on

The 800-900KBytes i get are not from OOL's ftp
I go to sites and dl those big a$$ 100+MB games and Go!zilla would find the fastest servers
Heh i even get around 700-800KBytes from gamesdomain.com's UK server
Everytime i test at dslreports i've never seen it past the 600KB mark which i can do all day ...

Goto tools, internet options, connections, lan settings and uncheck proxy server

The dsl reports is not that accurate
It never shows 1000 upload speed when i clearly can up that much from OOL, it alwayz shows around 700 kbits to 600kbits and their download report ain't accurate either
It shows that i can dl at about 550 KBytes

Right now should be about peak time where lots of people are on
The download was at 900KB or higher most of the download til about the end, then it dropped off a bit
