to take off the old one i think you will need a screwdriver (inmoscases) and you will need to press down and move around abit to get it free.

I was also gonna upgrade to that board, but the aopen ak77-333 was a refurb for $39 and i was tight on cash, but yeah thats a kt333 board i suppose, should be a decent upgrade..what are you upgrading from?
