Hi.... My friend has a problem with his computer and I'm wondering if anyone can help. He goes to start it up and it goes to a black screen and all it says is " Parity Check 2 " . I haven't had any trouble logging in . Are you able to get on to any Yahoo page? If so, maybe you can write to them and ask for help ( good luck with that though - I find their customer service useless....lol ) . Are your cookies enabled ? Good luck !

I do have Avast and I'm happy enough with that . I did use AVG , but uninstalled it because I thought it was causing me problems . That turned out to be RAM related though . I just thought I'd try Norton , but wasn't sure if it would let me use the disk .
