Can I borrow a friend's Norton Anti Virus ?

Hi ........ Just have a quick question . My friend uses Norton Anti Virus ( 2005 ) and he said he would lend me his disk so I don't have to purchase it . Can I do this ??

Why would you want to? :nope:

No you can't but why not use AVG 7 FREE or if you are going to pay for something go with the best..... Kaspersky.

Hi ,

I do have Avast and I'm happy enough with that . I did use AVG , but uninstalled it because I thought it was causing me problems . That turned out to be RAM related though . I just thought I'd try Norton , but wasn't sure if it would let me use the disk .

:nope: That would be pirating software.

As you mentioned....for freebies if you don't wish to pay, AVG or Avast. If you would like to purchase antivirus, Esets NOD32 is only 39 bucks, (which is my favorite antivirus product...top rated too). Also Kapersky, or AVGs pro edition. I'm not fond of Symantecs home user retail antivirus products lately, I only like their Corporate/Small Business Edition products, which are a whole different animal.
