Uncapping is not a good idea because you really wont get away with. You will just end up in a box with big men.

There is ways to gain maxium performance of your DL/UL Caps by downloading registry tweaks.

I am currently going through this problem with my service. I am spy-ware free,virus free and my connection just disconnects just like you. I doubt that a format will do anything. Have your isp do a signal strength check for you.

Connection Problems!

My problem is that my connection will stop getting sent data after a short period of time. Since I play online games I will disconnect after 5-10 mins of gameplay each time I log on to game. I dont really know what to do about it.
