Hello All,
I am not a broadband tech so let me try to break it down as clear as I can.
My connection will die out for about 10 seconds every 10-15 Minutes. My ISP's Tech guy came to my house to check it out and he said this was being caused by a messed up wire in the cable connecting to the modem from the cable company. Also he said the problem was fixed by replacnig it with a new connecting piece and new wire. Well what he did didnt change anything. I still get these annoying disconnections from getting any data for about 10 seconds. These disconnections will come much more when more people are online using the service.
OS: XP
1.8 Ghz, 512mb Ram, 80 Gig Harddrive.
Thank you for your help to whoever posted in trying to correct my problem or give tips on how to get it fix.

He's right, 9 times out of 10 if you are randomly losing sync it's a lie problem. The only other thing that can cause this type of problem is certain spyware. I would suggest following my suggestions on removing spyware in my Help & Tips link and if check all your cable connections, if it persists call your ISp back and tell them they didn't fix the problem, it could be something on your node.
