Unknown problem with video card/power
So I'm not sure what happened. My computer suddenly wouldn't boot at all. No spinning fans, nothing. So I ordered a random 500wt Antec ( http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=27500 ) for my system: AMD Athlon64 3200+, Asus ATX board.
So I put it in, it started up. But then I realized ...

cpu temp
The previous problem I've been having with my friends computer is the cpu temp. It was around 101 deg C before. I reseated the heatsink and got it down to 90 C.
But this is of course way too hot still. I'm using the Stock Heatsink/fan combo that comes with a Core 2 Duo.

I figure its the processor overheating. It is running idle @ 101 degrees CELSIUS!
According to this article:
http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/07/14/ ... page8.html
the temp shouldn't be higher than 45, even with the stock heatsink/fan.
Whats up?

weird power problem
Just built my friends computer
Asus P4B-E motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.13ghz
500wt PSU
When I set the case rightside up, it will turn off within 2 minutes.
If the case is on its side it works.
I tried switching power supplies with my Antec 480wt psu, but it still does it.

Deleting mp3's according to playlist
Is there software that will take a playlist, compare it to mp3s in a directory, and delete mp3s that aren't on the playlist?
If so, that would be just awesome.

If your cpu is slow, video card is older, or you have little ram or a ton of internet traffic, basicly something that takes up ram and cpu cycles. you could be having a severe playback problem. Did the video seem to run slow while you saw it? or does it play fine but the video just cuts out?

No viruses (no scanner, used http://housecall.trendmicro.com)
Spyware scanned/caught/deleted with Adaware/Spybot
Windows XP Pro SP1, upgraded
Would happen in Windows Media Player 9, as well as 10, and any other player I tried.
Any tips would be deeply appreciated.
