That really will not get me what I want. They still could get online with there email app, different browser and other apps that use the internet. I know there has got to be a way a admin can stop all internet activity on any user he chooses. P.S. all this will be done local.

Were would you put the bitmap on a win2k machine? I searched for the two files you metioned and I don't have either one of them now. My copy of 2kpro is not an OEM copy.

I am having the same problem. When I select SHUT DOWN The computer restarts. This just started happening. I am running Win98SE. This started just after I got some updates for my antivirus. Which is Nortons Corp 7.51.847

I think you are right. I got the new dat files even after they said they were stoping the free stuff. But I finally got another virus scan figuring it would end soon. But I see it has not yet since you are still getting them. Wonder how long it will last.

In windows 98 you can go into the internet options and then the advanced tab and put a check in the "empty temporary internet files when browser is closed" I have done this for a while. But now it is not doing it. When I close IE the files are still there. Can any one help?
