2x 74GB Raptors
Hey all. I have some Raptors coming fresh off an RMA and am wondering if anyone was interested. They are the 74GB 10,000RPM 16MB cache models. Should be here in the next few days for me to test then send out. Looking for something like $75 each or $140 for both. Thanks

Any Developers Looking for Some Extra Work?
Hey, I'm in a tight spot so I gotta think outside the box.
Recently we've been getting more and more busy around the web studio. Recently I got word that we have a huge workload on us, but mainly for just the next two to three weeks. The issue is that in addition to a higher than average number of ...

For just dorking around on your own desktop I'd agree...trying any old various driver wouldn't hurt. For production environments..where you want full server stability...I'd never do that...this is where many issues can arise.

While they wont be 'certified' for the OS, you can install most any driver that is for Vista in the respective 32 or 64 bit flavor. I run Server 2k8 on both my desktop and laptop and agree that it is certainly snappier. In addition I do some casual gaming on my desktop at times and have no issues ...

Brent, the core matter at hand is not if your beliefs are correct or proper. The core matter is enforcing a law that stands only due to morality and is heavily tied to a religion is incredibly unfair to people that do not ascribe to that particualr religion. How do you address that?

We haven't migrated any of our servers to 2008 because there frankly are not enough benefits to outweigh the work involved in migrating. That said I actually use S2008 as my workstation OS every day and I'd say that by all means it's a good OS. If you readup about S2008 as a workstation OS you'll ...

Where to get funding
My brother and I started a business a few years back and it's doing fine, but that's not really what I need funding for. We came up with this idea several months ago and have been building on it since for web 2.0 application with subscription based pricing schemes, much like everyone else these days ...

I've got a decent server on which I could host anyone who wants it. We only have it for client sites and it really doesn't get used like it should. It's extremely fast. It's just Intel's speedstep feaures I'm. If you examined the CPU-Z details while it was switching between 2000 and 2500 you'd more than likely find the multiplier going up and down. Personally I've always felt that with Speedstep certain processes feel laggier than with it disabled, which is why I ...

OC that biznatch! Have to say though, I am not too impressed by the overclocks people have been able to achieve with the new 45nm quads. Add to that their susceptibility to electron migration and lower multipliers than the equivalent quads of the previous generation and it makes the decision blurred ...

A. Ron Paul argues the decriminalization of marijuana would immediately shut down many drug dealers and consequently gangs across the nation, leading to substantially less violence. I don't think it'll change a damn thing because there are plenty of other drugs they could be selling.
