Your present settings can support speed up to 40 mbps from local websites. It is at overseas sites that speed can be limted to only 25 mbps as latency increases. Try using the present settings when you upgrade to 30/1 mbps and see what speed you can achieve and then we go from there.

No difference
My modem says 1492, so I don't know what the problem is. I even checked my registry, the class, the tcpip and the VxD keys and they all say 1492.

I am with Telstra and I am running 6000/6000 for $127
And that comes with 20 GIG download limit.
But now with the unlimited plan that has come recently the plan is 6000/128 for $54 and that has no download limit to it.
But there is a catch, once you get to 10 GIG, your speed gets ruduced ...
