cablenut settings for 30/1 Cable Connection.

Post by ITALIAN_GUY_20 »

Hello there, long time no see.

I was wondering if anyone knew what cablenut settings I could used for 30/1 connection?
Right now I have 20/1 cablenut settings (which is the highest the tcp optimizer goes up to) and I was wondering if you could supply me with 30/1 cablenut settings?

Below are the 20/1 settings

DefaultReceiveWindow = 1027840
DefaultSendWindow = 65535
DisableAddressSharing = 1
InitialLargeBufferCount = 200
InitialMediumBufferCount = 480
InitialSmallBufferCount = 640
LargeBufferSize = 819200
MaxFastTransmit = 64000
MediumBufferSize = 150400
Priority Boost = 0
SmallBufferSize = 12800
TransmitWorker = 32
FastSendDatagramThreshhold = 4096
EnableFastRouteLookup = 1
EnablePMTUDiscovery = 1
IgnorePushBitsOnReceives = 0
GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize = 1027840
MaxFreeTcbs = 8000
MaxHashTableSize = 16384
MaxNormLookupMemory = 5000000
SackOpts = 1
SynAttackProtect = 1
Tcp1323Opts = 1
TcpLogLevel = 1
TcpMaxDupAttacks = 2
TcpMaxHalfOpen = 100
TcpMaxHalfOpenRetired = 80
TcpRecvSegmentSize = 1460
TcpSendSegmentSize = 1460
TcpTimedWaitDelay = 30
TcpUseRFC1122UrgentPointer = 0
TcpWindowSize = 1027840
MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server = 20
MaxConnectionsPerServer = 10
DefaultTimeToLive = 64
DefaultUserTOSSetting = 0
TcpMaxDataRetransmissions = 13
DefaultTOSValue = 240

Any help with the 30/1 cablenut settings will be a big help. Thanks.

Your present settings can support speed up to 40 mbps from local websites. It is at overseas sites that speed can be limted to only 25 mbps as latency increases. Try using the present settings when you upgrade to 30/1 mbps and see what speed you can achieve and then we go from there.

MaxFastTransmit = 64000
MediumBufferSize = 150400
Priority Boost = 0
SmallBufferSize = 12800
TransmitWorker = 32
FastSendDatagramThreshhold = 4096
EnableFastRouteLookup = 1
EnablePMTUDiscovery = 1
