I had that prob with creative. I had to install the drivers first,then the sound card. Actually I had to physically remove the sound card and restart, then put the sound card back in and restaert again to install the drivers correctly.

your right, it is a cheap card but with 128 ddr it should be able to outdo a 32 mb mx 400! and in my opinion it does not. So, the bottom line is what did I get for an extra 75 bucks? A very sore feeling and they didnt even use grease!

LOL , I live so far off the beaten track it takes me quite awhile to reach civilization. My driveway is 1 mile from the road,totally solar,grow and raise my own food, rarely drive so it takes me awhile to find a clean pc. sorry.

WTF!! just upgraded from an old mmx 400 w/32 meg to a 5200 w/128 ddr. I see absolutely no improvement . I had no prob w/the mmx but I expected to see awesome things with this 5200 (what a letdown)

I have a 52x lite on, I wouldnt recommend this to my worst enemy! Its so loud I stay away from the door cause it sounds like its gonna throw the cd at me at about 90 mph and its terrible at seeking info.
