thanks.its just i cought earlier in the thread was said some resolutions arent supported.I took that to mean even with the shortcut change or vid.con change.Im taking it back i guess cause of this and also some fairly bad backlight bleed-

heres one.i manage t run it once with no packet loss showing.its always in the first 4 hops,never after.I tried to tracert http://www.speedguide.net and it only allows 3 hops.

the test i was taking is showing packet loss consistantly at 4 first 4 hops.usually all of them.

my speeds are fine to test and are around 2.5-3mb/512 actual.

back when i had that board,i used a couple heatsinks together(to make right size).then,using thermal tape,i made a border around it about 1/4 inch.before peeling off the backing,i covered the middle in as3(at that time).worked fine,never came off till i wanted it to- :) sort of a middle ground ...

Good point Joe.I just ran3d mark 03 to be sure.Personally,higher voltage to vid card is somtin i wont do exept on a board that is perhaps undervolting(troubleshoot)...
