Making it work is the question. I put the tv on the svideo through the menu and it doesn't work....Screen is black...

the card is a Nvida4 chipset Axis 64 meg video card. It has the svideo output and the tv has 2 inputs. Soes the s video have both video and audio?

The DVDs play great on the computer. How do I send it out the svideo cable to the tv? Yes I ****hed the svideo on on the tv

When it does that I can't ping the router.

I know the red light means problems but mine has been doing great It would stop every now and then but it would come on..Today it did it except the red wan light came on. I take it this is something on my end.

We tried a new ps/2 kb abd it didn't work..We think it's the KB port on the MOBO is blown..

He's out of work and he's a beancounter..So this is his prime season for side money with Tax time..Question is can you use a USB keyboard to replace the ps/2 kb?

I have worked in the internet(ISP) industry since it started. A couple years ago I jumped to Adelphia and that lasted about 18 months. But the money was nice while it lasted..

Comcast buys their bandwidth from Adelphia.. I know they are in trouble....

There is a lot of smoke and mirrors...

they say they are raising the upstream to 256K. BTW Mine has run flawless for the last few weeks up until tonight....I figure they are trying to find the extra bandwidth being as they are SLAMMED now..That I know..They get their internet from a company I used to work for..

What is

Lan 10/100 Half Dulpex and
20/200 Full duplex?

My router setup is really strange, but it's working..

I followed the instructions and it craped out now I didn't and it's runnung great..

I know If it ain't broke don't fix it but I'm trying to learn something...

fine now for about 2 weeks.

I have the link speed off and duplex set to half on the nic card

it seems to lag a little. I just shuht the Linksys and RCA cable modem down. and I had to reboot the computer but it seems a little bit smoother now..I have had so much trouble in the past I was a bit aprehenisve..

I have replaced them both. The cheap NIC card so far has worked better than the 3Com card..Now a update..So far it's still running. I have the NIC card set at 100.half and it's ran fine now.

I have also replcaed the cables several days ago...and it still went down.

I don't think it could be a cable because when my computer looses the connection the other one does too.

No static IP'sHow would I choose them just use 2 of the publiic IP's?
I'm not real fond of buying two more IPs from my provider...

I changed the cables out ..crash it went down again. So far I made the Half Mode chage and all is well HOWEVER..Is the problem in the router of my computer I tend to think it's the router because when it goes down the other computer won't hit the net either,,BTW I do NOT have the two computers ...

Ok a lot of you know I was having trouble with my Linksys.. I have the Duplex/Collision on the NIC set to 100/Half Mode and it seems to be doing fine so far. The other computer has the same NIC but it's set to 100/ Full or whatever it is..

My question is what is the Mode and what does it do ...

I also slowed the NIC down to 10 half duplex at the instance of a Linksys tech support guy...

When it goes down I can't hit it from the other computer computer either.. Still think it's the cable?
