Ya I did that and I put in my tracert too.
The only thing i see for this area as a CO as they call it is Covad and my phone is MCI also.

I noticed that when I tracert I see uu.net as the server or router it gets to with my IP address. So is uu.net kept in covads premises here in OR. If so my distance is over 11,000 feet from them. That would limit my bandwidth right?

I am getting MCI dsl and was wondering what type of connection it uses. PPOE or dynamic or the such? (customer service seems lacking in knowledge)
Also I was wondering what the settings for the VPI and the VCI are Ive seen that i am able to adjust those .
