MCI dsl

I am getting MCI dsl and was wondering what type of connection it uses. PPOE or dynamic or the such? (customer service seems lacking in knowledge)
Also I was wondering what the settings for the VPI and the VCI are Ive seen that i am able to adjust those .

Never bought from them directly. Always went through megapathdsl and then speakeasy (worldcom circuits). I had SDSL so I had static without ppo*.

If they couldn't tell you when you were signing up, why did you make the purchase?

first it's supposed to be the same speed as our cable out here and $20 cheaper
second it's my girlfriends and it was purchased online.

Good luck. Comcast's literature talks about how much faster they are than DSL - read the fineprint. They are comparing to 384k adsl - don't think anyoine sells service that slow anymore in NAmerica.

MCI MM is the only group that could answer that for you. Since all the aquisitions that made WC the monster that it is today, their platform is not what anyone would call 'standardized'
