comcast to upgrade to 3500 Dwnld??

comcast to upgrade to 3500 Dwnld??

I heard a rumor that comcast was going to go to 3500 for Dwnld anyone heard of anything like this I heard it was going to be for normal cable internet . with out costing more

They have been testing network capacity to see if providing 3.5MB downstream is viable without providing it at a different cost tier. Many users have noticed increases in downstream data rates as a result.

This 'trial period' is set to end September 30th is my understanding.

man, it would be nice to see adelphia to upgrade to at least 3.0MB.

The testing is for 3/256, not 3.5. This will probably end up being the normal speed for the residental package pretty soon..

i found this apparently they say 3.5 is going to cost 99.95 a month,, hope i am wrong,, hmmmm...Comcast Internet pro

In my area, have stopped offering residential Pro service due to the move to 3mbps soon. The price will stay the same.
