Sounds like you are missing drivers... or have disabled/enabled the A20 gate in the bios.. this has to do with PS2/keyboard connection same goes for himem... Go into the bios and look for an option related to Gate A20 action.
it is an intel board with old type of bios. dont find any A20 paremeter ...

Do a search for himem.sys, it should be located in C:\Windows
If it's not for some reason, and you find it elsewhere for some reason, simply copy it back to C:\Windows

If it's not on the hard drive at all, you can copy it from a Win98 boot disk.

Also edit the config.sys and make sure it's ...
