running win xp pro the pc doesnt complit the bootup, then i get blue screen with error 0xc0000034. i replaced all hardware but - sys board, cpu and HD. still no good.put another HD installed win xp pro & it looks ok.
does it mean that the HD is bad or the OS. (i installed the OS a week ago & it is legal copy). what is error 0xc0000034. thank you in advance.

That would be hard to say. What's the exact error message? Does Microsoft's Crash Analysis tool bring you to their website on reboot? If so, what's the URL?
Personally though, knowing what I know now, I would suggest reformatting the drive and reinstalling -- if it works it was the OS, if it doesn't, it's the drive.
If you're worried about losing your data, you could make an image of the drive using Norton Ghost or another tool like it. I haven't tried any of the free utilties myself, but here's a link to one such tool: http://msn.pcworld.com/downloads/file_d ... 022,00.asp
Also, if the problem starts occuring again on the new drive I'd recommend testing your RAM using memtest86 and also consider the possibility of the problem being your power supply. Alot of hardware failures are the result of crappy (or just not enough) power making its way to the system. You also said the CPU wasn't new. Consider running Folding@Home (if you don't already
) to stress test it or prime95. Personally, I like running both folding and prime95 50/50 while stress testing for a few hours.
