Writing to CDRW with New DVD RW Drive

Hello, I have a CDRW I have been using for several years. I recently installed a DVD burner. I cannot write to my old CDRW disk with it. I have installed Easy CD/DVD Creator 6. Any suggestions? Do I have to burn it to a DVDRW ??? Thanks in advance for the help. Wallygator.

Thanks but that box isnt checked. Also i should mention that this is hooked up with a wireless pc card. It hangs as it trys to open a "secondary" window almost like a pop up. This doesnt happen on any other of my comps. including wireless ones.

Well I can't figure this out. Wireless works great except for some minor static interference in the laptop speakers. No big deal I guess. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? Any idea would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

By a long time I mean 40 seconds. I am using DHCP and the router to access the internet. No firewall, latest firmware, using norton 2002, and it doenst matter which computer is off. Also this only occurs from my windows XP machine.

Thanks again. I've got two more questions, not internet speed related though. When I first turn on computer and double click IE it take about 8 seconds to open up, after the first time it opens normally. Also XP takes a long time to shut down.

Man Lobo you are on the ball!!!! Ok I'll try those. Does the highest one always work better? With optimizer I can just go to restore windows default to get rid of all tweaks and then start over right? Thanks

Home Network w/ Windows XP

Hi I just got a new Dell 2.0 p4. I have had a home network with 3 computers working fine. Now one with XP and two with ME. I am using a linksys 4 port router sharing a cable connection. I cant get this to work, and cant even get the new one online. HELP PLEASE....this is driving me crazy. Thanks

Lobo, your modem lights dont blink with activity? Also do you know how to check for backdoor, or trojan horses?? Comcast told me it was people on the network trying to hack in, but its nothing to worry about. Do you believe that??? I got a router so i guess that helps.
