Win98 games in WinXp?

Hey there people. I'm just wondering if any of you have done anything to solve something like that.

I have a pretty old game that runs in DOS, which is fine in win98.
I'm just wondering if there is any possibility to run the game in
WinXP. I tried the compatibility mode, but that didn't seem to ...

Temp folder

I have set up a Temp folder on another partition and was wondering if anyone knew how to set windows to put all the TEMP files in that folder instead of the usually C:\windows\Temp

I think I remember it got something to do with the registry, but I'm not positive.
Any advice would be helpful.

Hey there
do you know of any things that would prevent RASpppoe from installing properly?
When I try installing it, it popups an error saying "There is no information with your hardware in the configuration file."
Any Idea what that means and why it happens?

Metapad

Well first off, the program looks better than Notepad!

Then in the settings you can set a external viewer (like a browser)
so you just open HTML source code and launch the viewer to view your page.

It comes in very handy.
It's got a lot of other features too
get it at http://www.liquidninja.com ...

I make my own resumes using Notepad.
I make them in HTML
It's not so hard, just emulate the look of a resume.

Plus, it's free! (Personally, I use Metapad - a notepad replacement.) :)

You can't delete the favorite folder from windows explorer.
You must go into the registry and edit a setting in there somewhere. I forgot which one exactly. I'll find it and get back to you.
Or you can message one of 'em spammers on SG. :)

If you were using IE, then your download was saved to the folder

The auto-update feature is hard-coded into Morpheous and you can't stop it.
It uses the server that logs you in to update, so you can't block it even with a firewall.
You either get the update or you can't use Morpheous.
