Norton Ghost question

Post by ilmars »

I' ve used Ghost on my exsisting system (creating the booting disk on that system) & it works great. When it boots up it does say there's errors, driver wise, for my CDRW but when I'm in the program it finds my CDRW alright & I can burn a ghost image. Now I want to make an image of a laptop w/ a USB HP CDRW, but the program does not find the burner. Is it because I have to make the Ghost boot disk FOR that machine, ON that machine or what. My question is how do I get Ghost to see the USB burner on the laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ilmars

Sid's saying USB isn't supported by DOS (Nice one Sid! :) )
Just make the image, put it on a partition on the hard drive
then burn it on a CD from within windows.
New things are learned everyday,
While old things are forgotten.
