Winamp question

Post by LoopeD »

Hey everyone

I notice that sometimes, when playing certain mp3's, no matter what the file name is WinAmp identifies it as Unknown Artist, Untitled or Unknown Track, Unknown Artist while with most mp3's the filename scrolls in WinAmp. Anyone know how to force WinAmp to ID the tune?

Thanks!

You could try to update the ID3 tag. I do believe this can be done in winamp3.

Do you mean you want it to update the TAGs when your playing songs off a CD?
If that is the case, your probably blocking Winamp from accessing the database from the net or the database is down.
Or if you just want to edit the tag
right click the song in the playlist and select File Info
edit the tags to yourhearts content
