Good to see ya posting again Yikes!!!!

The 7950 GX2 is a pretty good card, in some cases sli and crossfire will beat it out, but it holds its own. If your shopping around for a new card now, I'd hold off to see what the new G80 chip is liek from nvidia, its not long till we hear more about it ...

"AHHHHHHH I see..." said the blind man!

Guess that drives the price up pretty high then. $1000 for a crossfire setup.

Makes the nvidia GX2 setup pretty attractive as its around $550 CAD.

Thanks again,

Crossfire vs Nvidia SLI/GX2 video cards

Hi,

I've been having trouble finding some info telling me exactly what ATI crossfile is vs nvidia's GX2 cards (SLI but with one PCI slot)

Is crossfire the same thing? Do I need two crossfire cards to get the same technical setup as the Nvidia GX2 cards.

Particually these cards are in question ...

Are there any video card (DUAL DVI) out there for a reasonable price that would give better performance than my 9700pro? WIthout going to a 6800 and spending $500 more :)

Aagiants im assuming you have a home router like a linksys or dlink etc... if so they actaully 90% of the time will have a switch built in so you wont need a hub.

You will just need independant connections off the switch/router to each location where you would like a jack.

Milwbr821 for this to work correctly you will need to configure fastethernet2/0 of the router to belong to the same network as the bridge, and then config a default gateway on the 3640, and finally a DNS entry on your laptop.

Here are the commands

That reg entry is the QOS packet scheduler value, in the case you have shown with a value of "0" there is no reserve bandwidth(or QOS is disabled). I believe the default is 20%.
