Distinguishable monkey-banging skills?

FWIW, I ended up using GParted. I'm not sure why I didn't think of this tool to start with. Its free and allows you to resize and move just about any type of filesystem.

Not as "pretty" as the paid tools, but not as pricey either. Easy to use as well.

Partitioning Software

Any recommendations? I've used PartitionMagic in the past, but I don't want to shell out $70 (esp since its a Symantec product). I doubt I'll have much use for this once I'm done.

I need to resize the system partition on a drive. It has 2 total partitions both of which are NTFS.

So I'm putting together a server to run VMWare. I'm trying to find some reliable benchmarks on the dual & quad core Xeons.

I'd like to go dual quad core processors on this, but obviously I need to be able to make a case for it. Same goes for 1333 vs 1066 FSB.

Any places to look? THG doesn't have ...

At least you can get DX10 with them. That's about the only good thing I can think of.

PNY is usually a crippled card from the start. Meaning if you have any thoughts of OC'ing the card or are expecting more than average performance, look at another brand.... XFX & BFG are good cards.

Hmm. I guess I'll see what the payoff is.

I've noticed that it says it's running at a low priority, but it doesn't like to yield CPU much. I know C&C3 loaded noticably slower with it running. Then again, it is a beta.
