I use nLite to slipstream, it's the best. Lets you create a totally unatteneded install. It allows you to remove components prior to install and ad drivers to the install.

Permanent IE blocking is working just fine here. I do have sp2 rc1 installed on my xp pro system, I know a lot of major changes were done to IE.

Yes you are right, it comes with adapter to make usb mouse ps/2 not keyboard. Sorry I guess it wont work with your set up.

I have been using this one for a year now and it is awesome. Works great with my Logitech wireless keyboard and wireless optical mouse, they run off one reciever. You push scroll lock twice to change between systems.

the email scanner in avg 7 pro has caught the mydoom virus in emails I have received and sent them to the vault. never infected my system.

I tried both ways and it comes up the same at least I think.

It is true for southeast michigan. The speed increase took effect 10-2-03. The speed for comcast is now 3000 down 256 up. Well after my call to Comcast last night I came home to a 3 meg surprise. Yes my speed test at dslreports showed 3123 down. I am guessing they do not want to loose customers to WOW and increased mine to keep me. Like they said everyone should be at 3 meg within 60 days. Proof a phone call never hurts.

Also go into services and make sure the messenger service is disabled. It has nothing to do with instant messenger. This would have solved your problem I Believe.

If you want to keep your broadband don't do it I have a friend who was shut off with no notice. They do not and will not tolerate hosting of any kind is the answer I recieved when talking to comcast.
