What is your ISP? When I was using Juno I would ping a stable 100-105 on westcoast servers and I would ping around 160-180 on eastcoast servers.

I did what all of you said, disable on-board video, disable printer port, disable com1, etc.
It still doesn't work.
It was working before until I updated the drivers (btw which I removed and deleted everything that the nvidia detonators installed).

I don't want to disable my onboard video becasue that is my only option to see my screen. My GeForce4 doesn't run at all. If I disable my onboard video I won't be able to see my screen.

I just reinstalled windows. When I inserted the Nvidia GeForce4 into the PCI slot and started up the system, it gave an error message on startup saying:

I also still have 35 gigs of unused space left on that drive.

My computer won't ley me create a new partition or format my C drive when I look at the disk management program. It says I hae no free or unpartitioned space left.

When I play counter-strike my fps averages 80fps. When all the people start spraying their weapons my fps goes down to 35fps. Do I need a soundcard so my fps doesn't go way down? I am running on motherboard software sound right now.

My netgraph shows that I am averaging 105ms pingtimes but when I press tab it shows that i have a pingtime of 210ms. Is there a console command that I can enter to fix this?

Other than the once-a-month failed bootup my system works perfectly fine.

I seriously think that there still may be another partition still in my drive. When i reinstalled the whole OS I just wrote it over the partition I used before. If there still is another partition in my drive, how do i look for it in the registry?

I did not use the retail disk that came with my computer. The retail disk that came with my computer reinstalls Windows ME.

I did reformat the drive when I installed XP. There are also no programs on the disk that came with HP, I uninstalled them all because I didn't need them. How do I take a screen-shot on my computer so I can show you my info on the computer?

Ok I only used 2.5gb of my drive so far because i reinstalled Windows XP. Although I only used 2gb, It says that I used 5gb! What is wrong? The numbers are showing 2x higher than it is supposed to be.

Usually you just buy all the parts you want and assemble the computer yourself or hire somebody to do it for you. Try Fry's Electronics in WislonVille Oregon, complete computers and parts are cheap there.

Lately for the past 3 weeks I have been having high pings in Counter-Strike. My pings were around 95ms before but now they are averaging 211ms. My line always chokes on packets too, everytime I look at my net graph it says : Choke: 65
