but my problem isnt that i can ping sites fast and then they suck ingame, even my pinging to sites sucks(same as my ingame ping).

how much of a difference is it gonna make that the cable signal in my appartment is split 5 times? (huge i guess)

ok, i play ALOT of counterstrike and my ping freaking sucks, i mean CS, Quake, MOHAA, ect my pings are all the same, 100-150.

i think the problem is that im in Northwestren Ontario (Thunder Bay) and my requests have to be routed all the way to Calgary before i even got out of the Shaw Cable ...

my clan, Seek and Destroy ( http://clan-sd.recongamer.com )has a Recon gamer server and its really good.

everyone pings well on out server (from cali to canada) and recond gamer has tournements for all the clans on thier servers, a 2vs2 tourny starts next week.

ok, i'm having a problem in Counter Strike and i'd really appreciate some help.

i go into counter strike --> play CS --> customize and turn the "voice transmit volume" almost all the way to the max, and go play a game of CS only to find this has been turned WAYYY down (to about 20%) and i have to ...

i have shaw@home service and a terayon modem, and this has happened a few times now.

my connection will get dropped and the Online button flashes red, and the Send and Recive buttons flash green. i have been sloving this problem by turning off and then on the power ...

i think the plan is to intergrate the new aspects that CZ brings into multiplay, while at least some of them.

i don't think the LAW rocket is gonna make it into multi and i pray the sheild doesn't. but some of the new guns and molotovs look interesting.

i was already running the netgraph, but for some reason i thought it was lying to me. i got it to run in a window and ran Netstat along beside it and low and behold it didn't really show any difference then the netgraph, expect i could see the CPU usage.

i had the EXACT same problem, at first i thought it was lag on the severs end, but it happened on ALOT of servers.

i suggest updating your video drivers, i'm running a GF2 GTS and the 28.80 drivers for it and they work like a charm, no more problems. give it a try, i hope it works for you.
