What am i doing wrong? I upgraded today to an Xp 2400+ processor. And my idle temps are very high 62 degrees with a 30 degree ambient. I reapplied the thermal paste and reseated the heatsink and still no change.

The heatsink is the Coolermaster HHC-001 with heatpipe and from what i gather it is a ...

Can somebody please make it clear to me whether the 8K3AE OFFICIALLY supports the 333 Fsb or not.

The newest cpu support pdf from epox says it supports up to the 2600+ on 333 fsb but the manual says the mobo can doe 266 max fsb.

I want to upgrade soon and i have to decide between

Nope

They all take different fuses. I tried the 500 mA glass fuse but when i measure above 80 ma the accuracy drops a lot, when i tested the circuit before it said 87 mA but now the meter says 80 mA. The 500 mA fuse has a resistance of 2 ohm! I bought 5 of them and they all have a resistance of 2.2 ohm ...

Yeah that's true but

On the other hand the intel machine will keep on running forever, where the amd machine will shutdown if the fan dies, the athlon xp with a mobo that supports temp shutdown is sure to keep ur amd safe.

Lol, no dude relax the memory on the graphics card and the memory on the motherboard does not have to be the same at all. The Geforce 2 mx isnt the best out there but u should be able to play newer games at 800*600 no problem especially since u got a 2 Ghz processor.
