sounds weird, however, run a cd cleaner disc

check out the temperatures inside with speedfan and make sure everything is ok regarding this before any other tests.

maybe the file video file is damaged. gom media player is a player that can play damaged files

the camera could be better however, very nice to see these images

try with this freeware converter. be careful with settings.

You can give it a try to plato DVD copy (simpler) or to the more professional ashampoo burning studio.
