vid converter

i am looking for a good program to convert some of my dvds to mp4 or 3gpp2
format.

it seems as the ones i have tried either gives me a bad pic and loud sound or great pic and very low sound.


i have tried
Ultra MP4 Video Converter
and one other ill have to wait till i am at home and on that comp to see that program name.

the screen i will be playing vid on
