video playback issue

I'm trying to play a video in basically any of my players (QT, WMP, etc) and every single one gives me this error and won't play it. It's done this twice now.

Any idea what I need to install/change/fix/look at?

maybe the file video file is damaged. gom media player is a player that can play damaged files
