i just rang my isp and they said that my i shouldnt have to change my firmware the modem is already supported also the 24000 speed wont start till next week sometime so ill have to come back then and let you know how :thumb: fast the speed is going and do a analyzer test thanks anyway.

doesnt matter i had the filter off and everything disconnected and when i put the filter back on it stopped it ,i had a problem i was having a lot of drop outs and i thought it might have been the filter causing it

Just had a look in my network settings status in the cotrol panel under network connections it says 100.0mbps also someone was saying you can also reduce the ping by reducing the packet size or net speed do you know how this is done .i just need to drop it another 40ms.

here i done another analyzer test

done another test after what you told me to do with the optimizer but i couldnt find the network adapter selection - your NIC bit where you said or what does it mean and has it made any difference i also noticed a connection speed slider bar do i have to adjust that to its currently set at 2000kbps ...

Read your other post. You are in Australia. Internet traffic between East Asia and the US are being redirected towards the EU and there to the US due to some damaged submarine cables. Ping times will be higher for the next couple of weeks and you cannot do anything at your end.
