hows this tracert on my pc to

doesnt matter i had the filter off and everything disconnected and when i put the filter back on it stopped it ,i had a problem i was having a lot of drop outs and i thought it might have been the filter causing it

You placed a filter between your router and the modem?

its a splitter filter that runs between the wall socket and the broadband 2 modem then the line goes straight to my laptop

You don't need a filter between the line and the modem that's the only connection that doesn't need the filter
