have you applied the HDD cache patch from MS's site?
if not try that, it could be that your registry is getting corrupted as you shut down.

i am thoroughly enjoying my new Kyro II as well. Serious Sam runs like butter, and the quality of the Images are absolutley amazing! im glad i went with a Kyro as opposed to a geforece 2. worth last dime i paid for it and more.

well, on my abit kt7 raid board it kept all of the old settings in tact and just went on its merry way. i dont kow if this is common but thats what happend for me.

the kt7a really doesnt need extra cooling only ifyoure hitting 140's + on fsb so why would you risk it anyway? they put it there safety's sake and not really functionality. so my opinion is that you shjouldnt need to use the blorb on your chipset.
