In need of Scanner Drivers!!

Hey Peeps,

I was just given an HP ScanJet 6300C, BUT, I have no drivers for it whatsoever, and if I want it from HP I would have to wait a couple of weeks for it. If any of you guys would happen to have the software/CD that comes with it, I would really appreciate it if you could Zip it up and Email me, or FTP me a copy of it. I believe the SW is called HP PrecisionScan Pro for Windows 2000. Thanx again.

go to www.driverguide.com (I think) I have a very old no name scanner and I even found drivers for it there.

Sorry, lemme clarify myself a bit. I have the driver, I just don't have the SW to make the scanner work, and the SW is not available for download.

funny that you mentione dthis prey..i need that software for an HP 4200c. they want t ocharge you extra for it. what a crock!!

Hey prey I have a 3300c that should have the same software. Let me take a look at the size to see if I can mail it to you. You know you can use the Kodak imaging software that is in all the windows software and it works great.

really I lost the software cd for my Hp scanner and just went to the their Website and download the software I need to zip and then burned it on cd. I can't believe they wanted to charge you. May be the model you have. Thats Lame if they did because I have always went there and got their lastest software for my printer and scanner for free.
