It sounds like you have a Link speed problem. Have you checked your Network Card "Link Speed". Try setting it to "Auto Detect"

I'm not sure what port it uses for data. I would would think 20 but I don't really have a way to identify that. I had also tried Ceasar FTP but got the same errors. Is there a good Free FTP server you could recommend.

You can always run an FTP server and give people a link to the server. Ceasar FTP(free) works fine. If your runing windows XP Professional, you can enable ISS and run both an FTP or HTTP server.

Hey Sid, try a program called Gspot. It tells you what format and codecs you would need to play that file by analizing it. I don't remember were I got it though. Just search for it on the net.

Actually, service pack 2 would have everything that service pack 1a has. Microsoft introduced service pack 1a after they were ordered to no longer offer Virtual Machine(JAVA). I've got the original service pack 1 at home which has the virutal machine. Otherwise, I would only slipstream SP2.

I know how to slipstream a service pack but was wondering if you can slipstream multiple service packs. I have at home service pack 1 which included the virtual machine. I want to slipstream SP1 and SP2 in Windows XP. Is this possible or will it cause problems.

There is only one thing. If you have the original SP1 on file in your pc and not "sp1a", you might want to install it. SP2 must be like SP1a which would not include the Virtual Machine.

We had the same problem at work using Windows 2000. We even tried a new NIC and had the same problem. Reinstalling windows corrected the issue.

I re-installed Nero and it seams to burn fine. I had also updated the firmware with no luck on Roxio. I checked Roxio's compatibily list and my burner was not on it. That could by why it's not working.
