D-Link today introduced two 802.11ax routers to its Ultra Wi-Fi router line – the AX6000 Ultra Wi-Fi Router (DIR-X6060) and the AX11000 Ultra Wi-Fi Router (DIR-X9000). Тhe dual-band AX6000 Ultra Wi-Fi Router delivers combined speeds of up to 6,000 Mbps, while the tri-band AX11000 Ultra Wi-Fi Router delivers combined speeds of up to 11,000 Mbps.

These routers are intended for users intending to perform multiple bandwidth-draining activities simultaneously, like file sharing and high-performance gaming. The routers offer Gigabit Wi-Fi speeds and work with a new D-Link Wi-Fi app for a seamless setup process. The routers bring higher-speed throughput to more devices simultaneously for better overall network capacity.

Additional features include: Multi-Gig Internet Speeds Ready: One 2.5 Gbps WAN port/Four Gigabit LAN ports; MU-MIMO, 8 High-Performance Antennas, USB 3.0 port and DLNA support.

The new D-Link 802.11ax Ultra Wi-Fi Routers will be available in the second half of 2018.

D-Link announced yet another router - the DIR-2680. The dual-band AC2600 router has been developed in partnership with McAfee, providing extra security features to help protect connected devices, with a particular focus on IoT smart gadgets and parental controls. It'll be available in Q2 2018, although no price has yet been announced.
