War is an ugly thing but not the ugliest of things: The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings, which thinks nothing (is) worth a war, is worse.

YOSC when I started with him, I knew nothing about fighting or defending. I became his primary pick on student. My name was Pssst. The man is walking legend. If he would show up to arrest you, you would've been wise to put the cuffs on yourself without him getting involved!

LMFAO....nice..... :D :D

I was told not to focus on belts but focus on what I'm doing. The teacher decides when he feels I'm ready to advance for a higher belt.

Wally Jay was the man.His small circle theory was the foundation of my ju-jitsu training.I still have his book laying around here somewhere.
The brave man is not he who feels no fear, For that were stupid and irrational; But he, whose noble soul its fears subdues, And bravely dares the danger nature shrinks from.

I trained under Dr. Kyung Ho Min now located at Berkeley and received a black belt in Kodokan Judo

In 1969 Dr. Kyung Ho (Ken) Min founded the Martial Arts Program at Berkeley. In his over quarter-century of leadership, Dr. Min has qualifications in: 9th Dan Taekwondo, 8th Dan Judo, 7th Dan Hapkido, 3rd Dan Kendo.

The guy could kick my butt any day of the week.

Learned wall - knife techniques tonight.... talk about one fast way to break a wrist...... insane class....

Used the kinves as if we were intended to rob someone that has been pushed against the wall full force... pretty intense and very effective I'd say.

I keep getting the higher ranks to train with... I guess that's a good sign ;) :D :D
