Budget LCD for gaming?

I know these two things don't go together very well, but there has to be a middle ground out there some where. I'd prefer a 19inch, however, I hear the 17's are actually better for gaming or were at one time. Not to mention they are cheaper then 19 inch LCDs.

I know you can always find decent deals ...

For XFire:

Open Program Files\Xfire\Xfire_games.ini. Find the section that says Longname=Battlefield 2.

Edit "Launch=" so that it looks something like this:
Launch=%UA_LAUNCHER_EXE_PATH% +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +username Yourusername +playerPassword yourpassword %UA_LAUNCHER_NETWORK ...

BF2 itself as a game is way ahead of BF1942 in terms of fun. It was just a little to slow paced for me. I will definately be downloading the "DC" mod, if for no other reason then to see how it compares to the original DC mod that made BF1942 so pleasant for me.
