I have 6000/500 from WideOpenWest, but its more like 6000/650, so please tweak it to the latter ;)

well, i use bittorrent on a 4mb connection, and i limit my DL speed to 300kb, giving a 200kb DL head, and my upload is 40k, giving a 20k head. its more than enough. and i can play XBOX live with no lag, and i can also host games on the PC with no lag...

btw, Linksys sells a no-firewall router i ...

he still gets 2200/285, but im getting about 1200/240 wtf??

I just reformatted, so I lost all my old settings :cry: All I have done so far is change the MTU and MSS.

But my speed tests fluctuate much too much :cry:

My line: WideOpenWest 2mb/300kb
I used to get about 2.2mb/285kb

Now, I'm getting only 1.3mb/205kb, and on my other computer, I get my old ...

That's the weird thing.

I got an e-mail from comcast saying that I recieved the upgrade a few days ago. All I had to do was power-cycle my modem once...

I did notice a speed upgrade though, so that means they didn't upgrade my speed to 3000, but only 1800???

So I optimized my settings in CableNut for it

But recently, I changed to Comcast 3000/200...
All for the same price...

So I was wondering if I could get the setting for these new speeds.

I've done a message similar to this before. I did all the things reccomended. For a while, my cable speed stayed constant at 1.7 mbps. After that, it went to 2.2 mbps. It stayed like that for a while. Today, I did a few speed tests and my speed went from 2.2mb/264kb to 1.1mb/94kb. What is going on ...
