I know this is a stupid question, but I am not very networking literate at all.
Anyway, I just got a MS Wireless Base Station MN-500 as well as a network card for my laptop. I do not have a static IP and I am using the following software/hardware:

I am a BSFA customer and love it. One question though. Do I need all these dial up adapters? Here's the details:

Celeron 850 mhz
Toshiba laptop
Alcatel Speed Touch Home Ethernet modem

what is AOHELL? Is this AOL? I have Compuserve, same as AOL, installed. I do not use it anymore though, should I delete it? What adapters should I delete?

nope, doesn't change it.
It seems to be slow on initial startup and then after a while it gets better. It has taken up to 20 seconds for my home page to start up.

OK, now my browsing experience has been slow. Sometimes it will take what seems like an eternity for the web pages to load and somes times have to "End Task" because the pc freezes up while trying to load a web page. I am running IE 6.0 and have installed all updates. What should I do?

i just switched to rasppoe and WOW what a difference! page loading is a lot faster and i have tested at several sites and the best i got was 1046k at pcpitstop.com and at dsl reports.com it was something like 550k. do i need to tweak the configuration for the dial up connection that rassppoe ...
