Yea, it's a satelite feed but I've only got like 56k worth of bandwidth. I'm just glad I have internet.

i just ordered from newegg yesterday this external encloser for my 250GB drive.

seemed like the one to get seeing as how it has a fan and is USB2.0 and firewire as well.

YOSC OC's his 2.4 to like 3.0 on stock cooling...it can be done.

I have the same RAM as you in my P4 system. Mine would never OC at all at stock timings. It runs dual channel fine..but OC it will not.

Browse to your Program Files/MySearch (or MYwebSearch) and delete everything in it including the folder itself.

You may need to delete those unknown files in the Winsock LSP. That looks suspicious to me.

Everquest1 was it's greatest under Verant (the original founding company). When Sony took over I thought it progressively went downhill.....now I think it's total rubbish.

You can try and find where the boot process is erroring out.

select the "Logged" boot option and this will create the file c:\bootlog.txt. Shut down after it gets to the error message again, and then boot to a Win98 boot floppy. Remove it when it gets to the A:\> prompt, and replace it with a blank ...

You don't seem to have any real spyware or hijackers present as far as I can tell.

You could remove some of the entries that are starting programs at boot up...and maybe some of the HP junk.

post a hijackthis log I'm sure people here will give you some help. I'm not as experienced as some but I'll look it over as well.

Also do you run an Anti-Virus app? You may have a downloader or trojan that is reinstalling this stuff after you clean it off.
