allright, someone recommend an external HD

Post by Jstyr »

I need to store music, movies, and pr0n...lots of pr0n. I need external (USB or Firewire?) so I can move it from machine to machine. What's good, what should I avoid??

Sooo, does that encloser basically turn an internal HD into an external one? If so, cool. It may be the way to go as I'm noticing external HD's are quite pricey.

i just installed an old 13 GB drive in this thing today, very well built it seems to me, you can't even hear the fan either, going to put my 250 GB drive in there soon enough.

was wondering what would be faster and use less system resources, USB2 or firewire ?
