Thank you sir. I just did not know if any of the settings needed to be changed or not. At every nearby Speakeasy site, I am seeing 2900 to 2940 kbps down and up to 365 kbps up. I am a happy Roadrunner customer now.

Greetings...looking for Cablenut Settings for the faster Roadrunner

We have the 3000/384 Roadrunner speeds here now and I am wondering about what I should change in the Cablenut settings for the increased download speeds. Been running the following values with pretty decent results (even with the new speed) Testing at 2930 kbps down at Speakeasy NY site.

From what I have heard, Roadrunner is planning on a big advertising campaign after all of the markets have been upgraded to the new speed. For me personally, I just dropped DSL that was capped at 3000/384 for RR that is capped at the same, and I am testing at 380 to 400 kbps quicker on the download ...

Yes, my profile is for the HP 850 Athlon....
We are on Roadrunner here...just set the Optimizer on the 333 for 256960 and the darn thing downloaded the test file from RR's servers 21 seconds faster than my 850 ! That was 49 mb downloaded in 3 minutes 10 seconds on the 333 and 3:31 on the 850. Geez ...

Hey ScarletAutumn, I am in upstate NY too and am seeing very good speeds (after tweaking) from my Toshiba modem. Currently capped at 2000 kbps. I recommend what everyone else is recommending. Get those dudes back out and get a card installed.

75920 works for me, but DSL is going away next week. I am going back to the slower cable here Lobo. The DSL here is fast when it is working, but the service interruptions have become more and more frequent lately and that is unacceptable to me.

Thanks ! I have my Win 98 installation tweaked in pretty good for DSL. Running 75920 on the RWIN and see good speeds there. I will be looking forward to playing with this XP install.
