Opera is very fast at browsing. I am not sure of what kind of speed test that you were trying to take or why you were waiting 20 minutes for it to complete. I have found that the speedtest at Speakeasy in Opera does not seem to complete. Must be something to do with java in Opera. I've been testing my speeds late tonight using IE and am having excellent results on my 3 mbps DSL. I'll continue to use both Opera and IE and may give Netscape another try and see what kind of results I get using it.

your temp files, cookies, and history might be too full
you need to go to start->settings->control panel..double click on internet options then in the middle of the box hit the button for delete temp inte files and then check ther box for delete all oflind content and hit ok......clear the history as well right below
then go to a dos prompt and if it is at c:\windows\desktop then type in "cd .." and hit enter to bump it up to the c:\windows dircetory ...........type in "cd .." and hit enter till the prompt only says c:\windows
then at the prompt type in "deltree cookies" hit enter IT SHOULD ASK YOU YEA OR NO choose y and hit enter
at the prompt type in "deltree history" hit enter and tell it yes
then type in "deltree tempor~1" hit enter and tell it yes close the doe prompt
WARNING this will kill all your web page cookies and you will have to sign back into EXCITE, IWON, YAHOO....ect
is the browser faster???
if no then go to start->settings->control panel and double click add/remove programs and then highlight IE 5 and tools and hit the add remove button and choose REPAIR IE and run it
if it says it cant be fixed then reinstall
if no repair tool then reinstall

You gotta' check out this tweak!
I had the same problem with IE 5.5 for 2 weeks. I tried everything, finally some one turn me on to this tweak. I did it last night and I'm blazing through pages at warp speed! I mean I used to sit their and watch the line graph at the bottom of the page go from left to right so, so, so, slow.
Go here:

Click on WinMe tricks on the left, when you get to the page it's the 3rd one down, browser speedup(I think that's the name) but it's the third one down. I know it will work! Tell me the results!:2cool:
