it depends on where u live. ask both any dsl or cable internet company thats available in ur area, and compare the speed and the price.
it's best to ask someone near u who has any one of them

technitian nor anybody found the solution.
and the last thing i tryed was changing the nic card, and it worked

oh well i just talked to a techintian from att roadrunner, and he said that the max is 1500bps and that makes 150KB and he goes

im using at&t's roadrunner in los angeles
and i usually down at 70k~140k. the max is
supposed to be 1.5mb but i never got up to
that. so i wanna know the average speed for
cable modems. please dont reply if u down
at more than 1mb/per sec.

i play counter strike, and when i play with
few people, it goes well but when a lot people gets in the server, my computer delays
and skips a lot. would it go smoother if i
add more rams or get a faster cpu, or is it
my cable thats slow?

my download speed is really bad. it varies a
lot between 30k - 130k, sometimes less than
that. it usally starts with 300k and all of
sudden it drops down to 100k. is there any
to boost it?

my ethernet card is D-link 530tx+ but this
is card good? my cable is rca but i never got
up to 1mb/down speed like they ad on tv. and
