is D-Link DFE-530TX+ good?

Post by sieZe »

Hi

my ethernet card is D-link 530tx+ but this
is card good? my cable is rca but i never got
up to 1mb/down speed like they ad on tv. and
oviously i even lose connection. i usually
down at 50k~120k, sometimes less than that.
i tryed the registry tweak, reinstalling windows, almost everything that i could try
. and i started doubting the ethernet card.
I have windowsME ,which i really hate, and
my ether. only support upto win98se. but well
it installed with the driver for win98.
please someone give me advise

The card can easily support faster speeds than that. its possible that yours is bad. Also check you registry settings, the cap on service in your are. and last but not least that the cable in your area is affecting performance

I use that exact card. I get around 400k down. Get about the same with my 3Com card.
