Hub to Router issue

I am trying to connect my hub to the router, and i am not able to get an internet connection on the router.

Cable modem to hub, then from the hub i have a port going to my PC, and a port going to the router's wan port....

I have tried uplink/normal and i am not able to get the router to go online ...

my problem doesnt seemt o be getting disconnected - and my game latency's have been good for a couple day's..........i keep getting knocked off trillian and at times web page's wont load - ie: intermitent

i have a significant update - i just experienced a disconnect while on the computer. I have a great connection via the linksys router - while playing an online game. Latency is 50ms, which is great. Im able to browse the internet without a problem and everything seems to be working nnormaly.

odd networking question

hi guys - i have a question regarding my Asus A8N-SLI deluxe mobo, is it possible to activate both network device's in the bio's, and use one as my primary internet source, and route it out the other to my router for the rest of my network?

ive been useing the linksys router - and i and useing it on a freshly installed xp machine, i still have the intermitent disconnections from AIM and MSN on trillian =\ i - hate - routers -!

If you power cycle your router, reboot your computers...and make sure you never start up that torrent program....I'll be your connection remains stable.

I currently have a Linksys WRT54G v.6 router, and a comcast modem from scientific atlanta. My internet speeds are 15mb down, and 2.5 mb up when im directly connected to the computer.
