you can try this but i really don't know, my case won't hold it right. try screwing them in on their side on the side of the 5 1/4 drive cage, if you have room of course.

FYI, ANYtime the case drops, it could be a problem. ha ha.

you can cut the connector off it and use a spare molex power connector, slice the 12v line (if the fan's 12volts) or the 5 volt line if it's 5 volts, then wrap the wires together and seal with electrical tape, black is ground line, red is voltage line.

seriously?? is there any other driver i can use to increase performance? i just KEEP ON READING that the v5 driver will work and increase performance. i have a boot disk and safe mode will work so if it ****s up i seem to be ok. i'll try it and tell ya how it does.

i read somewhere that you can install the voodoo 4/5 drivers for the voodoo 3 2000 pci......is this true or was i blatantly lied to? please help as this may increase performance. thank you.

i think you get worse performance because the heatsink touches the solder points and NOT the chip's pcb, thereby having like a .25mm gap where it traps the heat, instead of no heatsink where the heat is blown away. it's at 166 right now 183 wasn't stable, crashed ****in 2 sec's in windows. i'll try ...

i have a udma66 controller on my mobo, and if i get an ata100 drive, will it use DMA to be fast or will it be slow? i know that it will run only 66mb/s either way but is it the SAME actual speed for ata or dma drives? i mean , are teh drives teh SAME access speed? thanks.

i810 is the chipset, find out the name of the mobo and i MIGHT be able to find out, actually, open up your case and look around for a little ass black chip that says ICS xxxxxxxxxxx and write down the number and **** and that's the actual clock gen

the clock gen is on the MOBO NOT THE CPU. the clock gen depends on the mobo, usually ics brand

should i try once more to overclock my 733 to 1,100mhz? before it didn't work, but it's a little cooler now in sc, ambient is 75 deg. Farenheit....still stock hsf.........i might no idea though
